After losing my grandma during COVID, I poured months into creating slideshows, writing poems, and clinging to every memory of her. But no matter how beautiful those tributes were, they felt hollow. Passive. Frozen in time.
What I longed for wasn’t another picture to look at. It was the chance to tell her—just one more time—how much I missed her. How grateful I was for the unconditional love she always gave me. What I needed to heal was to feel that love again. To hear her voice softly calling me the way she always did: μωρό μου ("my baby" in Greek).
So, using her letters, photos, and videos, I created a digital version of her—a way to hear her, speak to her, and feel her presence again.
That’s why I co-founded Vita.
To help others preserve the most meaningful connections of their lives. To make sure death, while still a physical reality, no longer silences the conversations that matter most.
Vita isn’t just a startup. It’s a mission to keep love alive. Forever.
Think about it: what would you give for one more conversation?
Join us to make that conversation possible—for you, for those you love, and for generations to come.
